Implement autosave in addition to recovery
Please save all "unsaved" queries automatically. I don't care where, but I don't want to see any "do you want to save your changes" dialogs unless I try to close a query window with unsaved changes.
When starting linqpad, my previously unsaved queries (session) should be available, perhaps even with my cursor where I left it.
This feature is available from 6.9.12

I would like a checkbox to turn on autosave after every successful (compile and) execute. When I start a new LINQPad session, I copy an old linq file to a new linq file (like test-20190101.linq to test-20190105.linq) and would then like the new file to autosave each time I run it in LINQPad. Just my 2 cents worth on an old user request. Maybe this option already exists in V5?

Autosaving queries as in save the changes to the file that already exists is not a good way to do it. I have queries that i save, and then open, make a few changes to fit the current situation. I probably want to keep the changes, but i dont want it to overwrite my file.

Agreed. Notepad++ has this feature and it's great. I quite often have quite a few unsaved tabs open and I need to restart my computer, typically after a Windows Update, but I don't want to make the queries "permanent".
