Probably Just Me (and I think I could do it myself using MSCHart Add in). but sometimes I would like to be able to do very simple charts of my queries results. Scatter, Block Chart and May Be Pie Chart would probably be enough. like a light weight matlab....

Integrating the google chart api would be nice for quick and dirty* charting. *) which leaves you at having that external service dependency
it should leave simple tasks simple (MSChart don't) and maybe complex tasks at least possible. Starting with the simple tasks would suffice though. How about just facading MSChart and build a nuget package - as simple charting is nice to have in any project ;-) ?
