    You have left! (?) (thinking…)
How important is this to you?

Absolutely would love to have LINQPad in my Pocket !

That would allow me to put my commute time (3h1/2 each day) to good use without needing to carry my backpack in order to have my laptop with me, and that would be big.

You could charge me 100 bucks for it, I'd still be a happy customer !

Joe, thanks for your answer! Unfortunately none of these solve the issue, as both \ and @ need <AltGr>, § requires <Shift> and 1/2 is not on the keyboard, as can be seen here: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/msdn/goglobal/keyboards/kbdfr.html

I think adding to your list the upper left key (that's superscript 2, U+00b2) would solve this for the french keyboards.

Meanwhile, I found a workaround by defining my own keyboard layout to change that key to a backtick using the Keyboard Layout Creator (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/goglobal/bb964665) and tricking the Windows 8 preview to use the new layout (by swapping keyboard layouts as indicated by http://blogs.msdn.com/b/michkap/archive/2012/03/12/10281199.aspx, selecting the new layout and rebooting twice in a row).

Thanks again and keep up the good work on LinqPad! : )
