  2. Fix the tab button so that it doesn't add a newline (or allow you to turn that off)

    You can go to Edit -> Preferences -> Results -> Style sheet for text (HTML) results -> Custom -> Launch Editor and add:

    body { font-family: monospace; }

    ...to the the Customisations field.

    OK/Apply and re-run your query...
