Add AutoComplete for VB.NET
We need the auto complete feature to support VB syntax.
This is now complete in LINQPad 5. www.linqpad.net/download.aspx#beta5

Nothing is mentioned in the release announcements - where did you read this?

Would you please revisit this suggestion. I just looked and according to their Wiki VB is now supported. http://wiki.sharpdevelop.net/NRefactory.ashx

The problem with ADD is you buy things before you really read the description. I have almost zero C# knowledge and was looking for VB autocomplete. Oops. :(
Well, it's a great product and you guys deserve the money anyway. But I should would love to see autocomplete for VB. Thanks in advance.

Personally, I would pay for autocomplete for vb.net even if it was only supported for snippets, etc (no linq support) - any chance of *some* vb.net support even it it's not complete?

Both ActiPro and SharpDevelop/NRefactory support VB - but not with LINQ queries as yet.

According to this page (http://wiki.sharpdevelop.net/Default.aspx?Page=NRefactory), SharpDevelop/NRefactory does support VB.
At this time, it does not look like the Actipro editor has a LINQ definition, although they have those XML files where you can define it yourself. I am unsure how difficult that is.

works great !! would be even better with VB autocompletion !!!

Brendan: LINQPad uses SharpDevelop/NRefactory to supply autocompletion data. Actiprodoesn't as yet support LINQ. I'm hoping one or the other will soon support VB!

LINQPad looks brilliant! I've purchased the autocomplete option despite being less than familiar with C#. VB is my world and it will be great if/when this feature becomes available.
I noticed that Actipro SyntaxEditor advertises support for VB "intelliprompting" as part of the .NET Languages Add-on and hope this is a sign of possibilities to come?...
